Baby Malachite Eclipse

We had hopes for a natural VBAC with a midwife, but that all changed course at our 24 week ultrasound checkup... we were told our baby's heart was abnormal, so I was immediately scheduled with Children's Hospital for an echo (hour long ultrasound of the baby's heart...in my case 2-3 hours) long story short & many appointments with many doctors, surgeons & specialists we were given the choice to terminate our pregnancy before our 27 week approached or carry on with the pregnancy full term. Our baby has a rare heart condition that the cardiologists at Children's hospital didn't even have a name for the conditions he has. They have done many heart surgeries, but in our case they have only seen it once. Our heart is made up of four chambers and a bunch of important arteries in the case of our baby his heart never developed the other 3 chambers (his heart is one whole chamber) and a few arteries & tubes are missing, so the doctors cannot identify where the blood is draining to. The doctors told us the possibility of our baby surviving outside of my womb is very minimal, but we will not know until baby is born if surgery is even a possibility. I am now 39 weeks and will be delivering via C-section on Tuesday.  Our plan too have a natural VBAC with a midwife had to change since we decided too carry on pregnancy.  With many prayers & meditations my partner & I chose life. We are blessed with this Beautiful soul inside my womb and he deserves a chance at life! We fully understand that after our baby is born there may not be a possibility of survival, but at the same time there might be. We will never know until that time comes. I know whatever the outcome is we will still be standing and I will be grateful, humbled, resilient & merciful for this life that was given to me!! Baby Malachite has a powerful message for us... we have to trust our baby. I am grateful for the opportunity to hold him for 1 minute, 3 months or a lifetime... this is baby Malachite's journey and after many doctors appointments our medical bills had added up where we cannot keep up. We are humbly asking our family, friends and community for any assistance weather it be a few cents or simply sharing this. We truly give thanks!

***Our lion warrior Malachite Eclipse Morales was born 8/21/17 @2:53pm 6lbs 15oz. & Malachite Eclipse Morales transitioned to the heavens the spirit world 8/22/17 @3:57pm in my arms.   He is peacefully resting in power.   He is  too beautiful for Earth!  

We are humbly asking for additional support in anyway that calls to assist with additional medical bills from after delivering and funeral services.
