Baby Klaire's Medical Expense

On August 9th, Klaire (daughter of Kyle and Amanda Shull) got short of breath and was taken to the ER at Flowers Hospital where she was diagnosed with Bronchiolitis and signs of Pneumonia. With her being only 3 months old, signs pointed toward being sent to a bigger hospital. Upon the team from Sacred Heart arriving to transport her, they needed to intubate her in order for safest transport possible. After 7 tries of being intubated, it was a success. At this point, she has severely damaged airways that needed attention. When the ambulance got to Sacred Heart, she was immediately admitted into the Pediatric ICU where she was placed on a ventilator and sedated, also testing positive for Adeno and Rhino viruses causing a serious illness for her. She has now had an extensive stay and is still not sure of when the discharge date will be. During this unexpected sickness of Klaire, her parents have had to stay out of work to be with Klaire, along with their other 3 daughters.
