My sister Traci recently delivered a beautiful baby girl!
Baby Journey was born with Down syndrome and a congenital heart defect. Because Journey has such special needs, she is staying at the Sanford Fargo Children’s Hospital. We are anticipating her needing to be flown to Mayo for heart surgery in the near future.
Traci and her partner Jonathan live in Watford City with their 3 other children. Until the baby was born, they were traveling back and forth from watford to Fargo several times a week. Jonathan works hard to support his family but has had to take this time off to be with my sister and their new baby.
Traci and Jonathan are struggling with travel expenses and bills are starting to pile up. They are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Fargo which is a wonderful help to them! But they still need help to get through this tough time. Insurance doesn’t cover the expenses they are incurring or the time away from work.
Donations will help cover traveling expenses, food, bills, and all the necessities they need help with. It would be a huge stress relief for them to have help financially while they focus on getting their new baby girl healthy! Journey will need ongoing health care for the foreseeable future and it would mean so much to our family to be able to relieve some of the financial burden!
