Baby Jasper

My son had a very hard time coming into the world. Everyone meet Jasper Jay Michael Lacey born on Sept. 20, 2017 at 7:46 PM. He weighed 9 lbs 12 oz. And his length is 20.25 inches. Due to his size, I was not able to push him out, although I tried my very hardest. My poor sons shoulder got stuck behind my pelvic bone. The doctors attempted everything they could until they were left with no other choice. The nurse pushed his head back up into my uterus because he was losing oxygen and turning blue. They rushed me into the OR where the doctor immediately started an emergency C section. The epidural was waring off so it was a very painful experience until they got me more pain relief.. but they had to act fast in order to save my son's life. I tried my best to stay calm as they pulled him out of me and began to resuscitate him. After about five minutes and praying and pleading with god not to take my son, he miraculously started breathing on his own. My sweet little man is a fighter and I cant thank the nurses and my doctor, and god enough for saving his life. Those moments were the most terrifying I have ever experienced. In just a few moments I realized just how precious and fragile a human life is.
Due to the trauma and fetal distress, Jasper was transported along with his father to Children's Hospital in Denver. They flew to the hospital last night and arrived there early in the morning. He had a few seizures last night due to the few minutes of.oxygen deprivation. Right now his brain is being monitored and imaged. He has been going through scans and tests.to see what is going on and I am continually praying that he will survive this and be able to heal. An ultrasound showed bleeding in his brain but they are not sure how much. The doctors there are using an effective healing method called cooling. By keeping his body temp cool, the blood will go to his brain so that his head can recover. Once they are done cooling him, they will do an MRI to see how much bleeding, where at and what to do after that.
Its super difficult and heartbreaking to be away from him and Jorden. Once I am discharged from the hospital here in Delta, I can go to Denver and be there with Jorden and Jasper.
Everyone please pray for my son. I am desperate and so scared.. Also if anyone could possibly help with a little bit of funds for gas money so that I am able to get to Denver please let me know. I also need help raising money for motel stays while he is recieving treatment in the hospital. Also we will have costly hospital bills so any help we can get with the bills would be wonderful.. Im not sure how long he will be there, but anything helps at this point. I would really appreciate it. Im in a tough situation and really want to go and see my baby once I am released from this hospital.
Thank you all for the support and help.
Hang in there my little man. You are so tough and strong. Mommy loves you so much.
