Baby Girl Norwood- Shaun & Meridith

After many months of trying, Shaun and Meridith Norwood were elated to find out in Spring 2018 that they were pregnant with a beautiful baby girl, due December 2018. While the first few months of the pregnancy were relatively complication-free, the third trimester has brought it's fair share of challenges. Baby Girl Norwood, a miracle baby, has been diagnosed with severe neurological, cardiac, and skeletal malformations. We do not know what the road ahead holds, but we do know that this beautiful little girl has been prayed for and loved since before her heart took its first beat.
Meridith and Shaun have been referred to a team of fetal maternal health specialists at Texas Health Harris Methodist and Cook's Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. They have undergone the first round of tests and are awaiting not only results, but a plan of action for the next few months. As you can imagine, they are heartbroken and afraid, but still head over heels in love with their baby girl.
While we don't know the cause or final prognosis, we do know that the "normal" pregnancy/delivery Meridith and Shaun had planned for will not happen. Instead, the next 12 weeks will be filled with 5 hour round-trip drives to the doctor, more tests/procedures, more waiting, more stress, and a much earlier delivery.
In the last phase of their pregnancy and into delivery, we want Meridith and Shaun to focus on caring for and loving on Baby Girl Norwood--rather than worrying about the hospital bills and expenses that will come their way. In lieu of a baby shower before Baby Norwood's arrival, the funds generated from this fundraiser will help offset some of those expenses--and hopefully alleviate some of the stress and worry from the Norwood family.
