Baby Edwins Fight

Hello I like to tell you about our brave lil boy. we have been fighting for his life since he was 2 years old. Our sweet boy was diagnose with stage 4 neuroblastoma. It has been the worst 2 years our of lives.when we found out he stoped walking. The tumors grew so fast it overtook his little body. He stopped walking the first month we found out. The tumor went from the bottom of his left ear to the middle of his chest it started at the base of his brain.  We started intense chemo treatment for 8 month's. Baby edwin stated walking on his last chemo treatment.oh what a day!! that was the last of regular chemo treatment we had to get baby edwin ready for bone marrow transplant. Bone marrow transplant was the worst of the worst.  Baby edwin went threw his first treatment like a champ. We stayed in the hospital for 18 days. Everything went as planed but his scans were still coming back with cancer still in them. The 2nd round of bone marrow transplant was heart breaking. I watched my lil boy almost give up. We stayed in the hospital for 28 days. While in the hospital baby Edwin caught a blood Infection. We didnt know if he was gonna make it. His lil body couldnt take it any longer. He wasnt eatting he wasnt keeping no food down. Even when he had a feeding tube down his nose it was hard to keep the fluid down. He was peeing blood for almost 2 weeks when the doctors finally had an answer for us.  Baby Edwins kindys stated to shut down his kidnys weren't able to break down his blood and keep his lil body going. For me this is the worst feeling in the world. WHAT do u do?? How do i keep going? What can i do?? If we were going to loose my baby i wanted him home in his own bed with his family. The doctors agreed to let us go home.  When we got baby edwin home it seem like a new light came on. He seen his dad for the 1st time in a month. My heart hurt so much baby edwin kept pushing and stated eatting with his dad. We went everyday for a blood transfusion or platelet transfusion. I was not gonna let his last days be in the hospital.  They found a new medicine that would heal his kindys. So the doctors give me paper that said hey this medication is 25,000 per dose and if your insurance wont cover it you will have to. I signed my life away just to have a few more days with my lil boy.  Baby Edwin pulled threw he got 3 doses of this medication. Thank you GOD!!  We kept pushing, we didnt give up on him, we pushed. He did 3 weeks monday threw Friday for radiation. There was still cancer in his blood and the top part of his head. Baby edwin faught hard never giving up. He still had one more set of treatment to go threw. Immunotherapy!!! Immunotherapy how scary was this road to take.  When we got admitted it was right in to the PICU. Each time due to what the treatment did to his lil body. He ran a temperature  of 108 every time we went in. Sleepless nights for mom we had to do 6 treatments.  Each one was rough he stated to develop breathing problems. We ended one treatment because he wouldnt stop coughing. Baby edwin pulled threw.   We went in for his last scans December of 2018. Two days before Christmas the doctors call us and gave us the wonderful news that baby edwins in remission!!!!! Now for what has been going on is every 3 months we take him back in for scans. With neuroblastoma it is a rare cancer. Please pray and if you can help us keep up with the doctor appointments we would really appreciate the help. Because of the treatments that baby edwin received. We have to get edwin set up for hearing aids and we fou d out that he has a in large heart now due to the chemo. We also have to be going threw surgery again.
