My name is Sarah and I am the sister of Megan and Matthew Eberle. Megan is my older sister and I have known Matt now for 14 years. Megan and Matt were college sweethearts and are now happily married, working toward their dreams of a family.
Megan was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition shortly after she married Matt. This condition can manifest differently in different people, but for Megan this has led to changes in her endocrine system and hormones. This has led to years of infertility treatments and ultimately, a conclusion on behalf of Megan's doctors that she will never be able to have children of her own.
Megan and Matt have always envisioned themselves as parents. They have "Mom" and "Dad" engrained in their identity so strongly that a life without a child is not an option for either of them. That's where we come in.
Megan and Matt have poured their efforts into fertility treatments for many years, taking on the financial burdon and successfully paying their way through each round of treatments. From multiple rounds of egg retrieval failures, to successful donor egg matches, to failed donor egg retrieval, to multiple rounds of failed IVF attempts, Megan and Matt have remained hopeful and faithful that one day they would bring home a child of their own. They now have dreams for adoption, but unfortunately these dreams come at an additional cost that are daunting for any family. I am so sure that my sister and brother-in-law will make fantastic parents and were put on this Earth to raise a child that I cannot let them give up now. There is a child out there that is meant for them, and I know with a little financial help they will finally have the family of their dreams.
