Ephraim’s Story
Ephraim just turned 3 years old and is the youngest of two children. A few months ago his family was told that Ephraim must have emergency surgery on 2/14/18 in order to treat a critically serious infection that requires immediate attention or may leave Ephraim with  brain and/or heart damage. The distressing news hit the family extremely hard as there was nothing they could do for their little son. The surgery will allow the doctor to remove the already widespread infection and treat him. Your donation will cover the cost of the doctor who will do the surgery, hospital OR/surgery costs, and followup treatment. Ephraim and his family are uninsured and have been unable to get medical assistance (we have tried everything) to pay for the emergency medical procedure that will give him a chance at a healthy and full life. He will require follow up medical care over the next few years. His family is also in need of your financial assistance to cover the family’s legal fees.
