Baby Dorn’s Medical Fund

Our son is due any day now. We are excited for his birth but nervous and scared of the unknowns, because he will be born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. Some of the unknowns ahead are: possible feeding, hearing, and speech challenges. There are 3 surgeries we currently know about, the first will be at 6 months old, to fix his lip. The palate surgery will start at 1 year and be completed at about age 7. We have insurance but over the next two years our out-of-pocket expenses will total about $20,000 so we could use some help. Plus there will be other medical costs we don't even know about yet as we enter into Children's Hospital and procedures down the road.

A few months back, our friends the Bekkens set up a YouCaring donation site for us but this platform was recently bought out by Go Fund Me. We were nearly halfway to our goal when things got shifted over.
