Last month, our Pittie baby was diagnosed with Lymphoma which is a cancer of cells involving the immune system. He has been referred to an oncologist where he's been receiving combination chemotherapy every Saturday. He's given either an IV or oral chemo medicine as well as steroids and supplements to help his immune system.
He'll need 3 more months of this treatment to send him into remission where we're hoping to get a lot more time with him. This is extremely expensive (about $1,300 every month) and we maxed out our credit cards when his sister was diagnosed with Mast Cell Disease last year (I know, this has been the worst year).
This little guy is our everything and has been our baby since we rescued him 8 years ago when he was just 9 months old.

About Dexter: 8 year old rescue Pit Bull who is 90 lbs and afraid of the sound of fizzy water. He enjoys sleeping, cookies, peanut butter, chasing leaves that blow passed him too quickly, barking at bugs, eating your pizza when you get up to use the bathroom, cookies and sleeping. His favorite food is tortillas and his rising sign is Leo (obviously). He lives in Portland Oregon with his many parents, aunties and uncles who help love his beautiful golden self. He is an award-winning Good Boy.
