Baby Della Rose Brundage

Hi everyone, my name is Chelsea Isaac I live in Aurora, CO and am a good friend of Violet and Kye's, Violet is practically like a sister to me and it is with an extremely heavy heart that I have to post this on their behalf. As most of you know and some of you may not Violet and Kye welcomed a beautiful baby girl Della Rose Brundage on February 21st 2018 just after midnight. Labor was long and while at first everything seemed fine doctors quickly realized Della did not have the same muscle tone as other babies born full term. The medical term is Hypotonia, which is commonly known as floppy baby syndrome. As a precaution Della was transported to the NICU for monitoring and further testing. She was doing great and after four days in the NICU they were able to take Della home. While medically Della still had a long road to determining why she was hypotonic she continued to thrive at home. Later testing revealed genetic abnormalities that were to be explored at a later date but unfortunately that day never came, and everything began to change just a few days ago. Sweet baby Della suffered a medical emergency on Saturday and was transported to children’s hospital NICU. After all efforts had been made to save Della’s life, Violet and Kye had no choice but to take her off life support on March 26, 2018. As you can imagine this is one of the most traumatic events for Violet and Kye to have had to experience as new parents much less to be left with making such a heart wrenching decision. Now they are faced with mounting medical bills, service and cremation expenses and long-term grievance care for their well-being. We would want nothing more than to be able to take all their pain away and go back in time and give them the medical answers they were seeking to prevent this awful event from ever occurring, but we can’t do that. So please help us in supporting them in the only way we can, by the financial relief this campaign will provide we can help them give Della a memorial she deserves, pay off all Della's medical bills and  provide additional income for Violet and Kye so they can take time off work  to access grievance services such as counseling they may need to get through this. Please respect their privacy and support them as you can.
