Baby Cristian’s funeral

On September 16,2017 baby Cristian ( baby peanut) was born and that day was a blessing for all the close family and friends. We were beyond grateful that after waiting for months we were finally going to meet baby peanut! Unfortunately three months later, baby Peanut was admitted to Modesto hospital for what seemed to be pneumonia. After a few attempts to fix his lungs with no sucess they transferred him to Sutter Medical Center in Sacramento for higher care. In Sutter Medical Center they realized that baby Peanuts symptoms were no longer just usual symptoms for pneumonia; but symptom for something bigger not yet diagnosed. After a little over a month and after many tests he was diagnosed with a genetic disease called SMA type 1. Just a few days later this disease led him to have Sever lung failure and our sweet baby peanut passed away on January 28, 2018 at only 4 months old. Baby Peanuts parents, Coraima and Cristian, waited for his arrival for so long and even though he was only with them for a short 4 months they will forever cherish and value every moment they had with him; and feel The luckiest parents to have had an adorable Angel with them. It was the hardest thing for me to watch them do, to say goodbye to their baby. I can't even imagine the pain their going through with all this. I remember how excited they were to tell us that we were going to be aunts to a beautiful baby boy and we never imagined that we would lose him so soon. They are heartbroken and dealing with so much financial stress that I decided to create this account in hope to gather as many donations as I can to atleast help them with their financial stress. Nothing we say or do will ever ease their pain but I hope this will at least give them one less thing to think about. All the donations that we gather will be used for Baby Peanuts medical bills and for his funeral costs. The donations will be really helpful for them since they also had to miss days off work to travel to be with their baby. Any donations or prayers will be gladly appreciated.
