Baby Chansa’s Heart Procedure

Hello everyone, my name is Chance Ihu S. Mendiola. My mother is Ana Mendiola and my father is Dennis Mendiola. I was born on May 24th, 2018 at Naval Hospital. The delivery and everything went well but when Dr. Love did a thorough screening, he found a problem with my heart. I was diagnosed with pulmonary valve stenosis (PVS). PVS is a heart valve disorder in which the outflow of blood from the right ventricle of the heart is obstructed at the level of the pulmonic valve. This type of pulmonic stenosis results in the reduction of flow of blood to the lungs which is causing the right ventricle of my heart to work twice as hard. So, Dr. Love and his team are currently working on my referral to Hawaii to see a pediatric interventional cardiologist that will be flying in from San Diego during the last week of August. I will be undergoing more tests and screening prior to any procedure to reconfirm the diagnosis and ensure that it is the best course of action to repair my obstructed heart. But mommy and daddy will keep everyone updated as we receive more information. I am kindly asking for help from our family and friends.
