Baby Cay was physically and sexually abused three weeks ago. She was left with severe injuries and emotional scarring.
Baby Cay is my two year old granddaughter who has two older siblings. They have all been placed in foster care for the time being to keep them safe until I arrive.
My name is Liberty and I am the Grandparent of these children. I am leaving New York on Friday, November 30th to drive to eastern Oregon to take custody of my grandchildren to give them the emotional support and love that they are so desperately in need of at this time.
Traveling costs should not exceed $2000 but the mental and physical medical expenses are unknown at this time.
Additional funds will go towards easing the initial transition upon my arrival (establishing a stable environment for the children.)
There could be no measure of the love in society's soul, other than the way they treat their children and keep them safe.
