Baby Cameron's Family Needs Ur Help

My name is Jessica Geisler, I'm a cousin to Deanne Vernon who on Monday 4th of January [email redacted]m welcomed this beautiful baby boy Cameron Paul Vernon into the world. Weighing in at 4 pound 5 ounces (2.041kg) baby Cameron was on the tiny side but otherwise what seemed to appear a healthy baby boy. 

That was until his mum went to change his nappy several hours after birth and his abnormality was found. In the space of a few hours Deanne's happy day turned to one of fear for what might happen to her baby boy. 

Cameron was found to have a condition called imperforated anus (where he has no back passage for bowel movements) when this was found they contacted Monash Neonatal ICU and surgical team for an action plan, that same day he was rushed to Monash with him mum for treatment. 

Treatment for Cameron's condition consist of many medical appointments, multiple surgeries over the next 6 months and ongoing reviews. with this comes the costs of upkeep, the cost of stoma care at this early stage for colostomy. The cost of antibacterial and sanitizing items to ensure that he does not get any illness or infection while undergoing this difficult care plan, amongst other cost, including but not limited to fuel to get to appointments and food/ accommodation if required. 

I am not 100% certain of what other costs may incur (as we are only at the beginning of this long journey, and with Covid and restrictions I can not personally be there to support Deanne during this difficult time. So with that in mind we discussed a way to assist Deanne with what financial burdens that may arise for Cameron at the same time showing we are here and we care. 

All proceeds raised beyond what support Deanne and her family require for Cameron's care will be donated to the Monash Neonatal ICU as a thankyou for their support and outstanding services in the care they have provided and compassion they have shown Deanne during this difficult time.
