Baby Caetano's HLHS heart fund

On October 2nd, 2017 a beautiful baby boy was brought into this world! His name is Caetano Rylan Craveiro. He was born with a congenital heart defect, hypoplastic left heart syndrome(hlhs). This defect is extremely serious and required medical intervention immediately at birth and also requires three open heart surgeries.
The first surgery took place when he was 4 days old. Surgery went great and the whole family and doctors were pleased with the outcome but unfortunately that same night there were complications with his recovery. On the night of his surgery, he went into cardiac arrest which required 15 minutes of CPR until the surgeon could come back and put him on ecmo( heart and lung machine). Caetano's family hearts sunk with the startling news but throughout the wait they continued to believe that God would do his best to keep this incredible baby in their lives.
Caetano remained on the ecmo machine for 5 days until his heart was strong enough to do the work on its own and luckily it was. Thankfully with prayer, capable doctors and nurses surrounding him he was blessed to come off of the ecmo machine. However, due to these complications Caetano as of now, must remain hospitalized until his second surgery which is usually between 4-6 months of age due to his condition being considered high risk. The time between the first and second surgeries is the riskiest time for kids with this condition. So please keep Caetano in your thoughts and prayers!
Had there not been any complications, Caetano most likely would have gone home with his loving family. Due to him needing to remain hospitalized, his mother is not able to work. Children with these conditions require extra attention and love. Hopefully Caetano will be able to come home sooner than expected.
Meanwhile, if anyone is able to donate to help Caetano and his parents with the financial burdens they will see throughout this whole process it will be deeply appreciated!
