The Baby Brody Resource Fund

Baby Brody started out with a little cough. We took him to the ER and they told us he had Pneumonia. He was sent home with some antibiotics. Three days later, he was still not getting better. We took him back to the ER. Since then we have been transported to Nationwide Childrens Hospital. Brody has been diagonsed with several heart defects, including three holes that did not close on their own as they should, and a defect with his Mitral Valve. Long story short, he is getting too much blood to his lungs and he cant breathe. He was also diaganosed with RSV, a respitory illness. On top of the heart issues, the virus is taking its toll on our sweet baby boy. Right now he is in the Cardiac ICU. He is on a High Flow Nasual Cannual for his breathing and he has breathing treatments around the clock. He will need surgery to correct the issues with his heart. I cant leave my babys side, so I have been here with him sice Friday afternoon. This has left poor Fenton and Leighton at home to fend for themselves. We are in desperate need of financial help for medical bills and day to day living. The situation is not good, but Brody is strong. Even small donations could mean a world of difference to my family.
