Baby Bridges Story,

Brittney and Adam are expecting baby boy number two in December 2018.  In June around sixteen weeks pregnant during a routine follow up cerclage sonogram at the Santa Rosa UCSF facility one of the doctors spotted a possible heart issue. The doctors told her that the baby was diagnosed with Aortic stenosis, a type of heart valve disease, where the aortic  heart valve does not fully open and is narrowed during development. The aorta is the big blood vessel that carries blood away from the heart to the rest of the body.

As every parents worse nightmare, Adam and Brittney were devastated by this news and have been spending several days per month at the UCSF Children Hospital in San Francisco at the Fetal Treatment Center.
Brittney has been having many tests done and echocardiograms to keep an eye on the progression of the diagnosis.

Brittney will need to deliver at the UCSF intensive care unit and a sedated surgical intervention will be necessary for the baby at birth and depending on several factors will require them to be there for at least a month while mama and baby recover.

Any support is greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.
The donations will be used for the medical bills, unforeseen surgeries,  parking, food, and housing while staying in San Francisco.

Thank you for your love and support,

Adam, Brittney and Charlie
