Baby Beckett's Open Heart Surgery

Beckett Lackey was born on October 13, 2020 at 35 weeks. Since his birth he has been diagnosed with a narrowing of his aorta and pulmonary hypertension. He has become apneic several times and thankfully he has been stimulated to breathe again. He was taken by Children's to Dallas where he is  currently awaiting open heart surgery. The family is not asking for anything, but as one of my best friends I am trying to help them.  Beckett's father is a EMT/EMD dispatcher who was attending the last weeks of fire school. He has now had to drop out. His mother is an elementary school teacher and is still recovering from an emergency cesarean while having him (this puts her out of work longer). They have already had to use their accumulated PTO. Medical bills as well as normal household bills, hotel bills to stay near Beckett, and gas bills to travel back and forth so they can take care of their first son are going to be a huge burden soon. Anything that you can donate helps tremendously!!
