Baby Ariel

My baby girl was born July 28 2012. It was the happiest day on my life but there were complications. She was born with a huge subgaleal hematoma on her head. The doctors couldn't explain it. They didn't use a vacuum or forceps and she wasn't in the birth canal very long. She was born purple and not breathing. The doctors immediately took her out of the room to work on her. I didn't think I would ever be able to meet my baby.
Thankfully she was fine and otherwise healthy. She was the most beautiful thing I ever laid eyes on and for the first time in my life I felt that I had a purpose.
At 3 months our nightmare began. We took her to the ER because she wasn't moving her leg. They did xrays and told us that her femur was fractured. We were devastated. How did this happen. I stayed at home with her and new that nothing happened to cause this. They did more xrays and found more tiny fractures along the growth plates in her long bones. We could not believe this. She was such a happy baby. How did this happen?
We insisted that the doctors do more tests. They refused. They told us that we caused these fractures to our precious baby. This couldn't be more false. She was well nourished, clean, and didn't have so much as a scratch on her. No bruises. Nothing. I asked the doctor how we could of done this with leaving no outside evidence of abuse. Her response was that we knew exactly what to do cause her fractures without leaving bruises. How is that even possible? That doesn't even make sense.
Child welfare services took our baby from us that day. We have been fighting since to get her back.
We contacted several medical experts to take a look at Ariel and her xrays. They all said the same thing. Ariel had rickets, a disease caused by a vitamin D deficiency that causes bones to be poorly mineralized and brittle. In rickets fractures are normal located along the growth plates and can occur during growth spurts and normal everyday handling of a baby. The medical experts we spoke with asked if a vitamin D test had been ran on her. We looked through all her records and called the hospital. There was no evidence of a vitamin D test anywhere.
Eight months later my attorney was looking through Ariel's medical records and found something that looked like they had done a vitamin D test but did not document it. I called the lab and went back to the hospital. No one could find the test. They did however find a lab that was taken while she was in the hospital but no one had access to look at it. We were instructed to go talk to the manager of the lab. She was able to pull up the lab and it was the MISSING VITAMIN D TEST! The labs showed Ariel was in fact extremely Vitamin D deficient with her levels at a mere 13! Normal levels are 30 and above! We final had all the proof we needed to exonerate us!
We thought the battle would be over and we would get our child back but CPS has not backed down. We are set to go through another trial December 9-13 2013.
Ariel has been seen by 5 medical experts all saying she had rickets. We need to pay for as many of them as we can to come testify for us in court.
We ask of you to find it in your hearts to help us get our baby back. My husband is in the Marine Corps and I got of the Marines shortly before I had Ariel so I could stay at home and raise her. We don't have much income and this has been a huge financial burden on us but our faith in God has gotten us through this far.
