I am making a plea on behalf of Taylor, my son, and Jerrica, my soon to be daughter in law.
On January 28, 2020, Jerrica gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Brooklyn! Little did they know on sunday, February 9,2020, their happiness over their little bundle of joy would turn into sorrow. The morning of Feb. 9, 2020, Taylor and Jerrica woke up to find their little princess not breathing. Brooklyn was transported to Barbourville ARH where with the united effort of God, Emergency services and ARH Doctor and staff, they were able to get a faint heartbeat on Brooklyn but she never did start breathing on her own. Brooklyn was then transported to UK childrens hospital in Lexington, Ky. She was on a vent that was fully breathing for her. Brooklyn never did regain consciousness. Brain damage was severe from lack of oxygen she was not able to come back. Brooklyn passed away on, Monday, February 10,2020. Brooklyn will be in the care of Knox funeral home. We would like to have a visitation and funeral for our sweet baby girl, but we need help to accomplish this.
Mom was put off work during the last part of her pregnancy with Brooklyn and dad will not be able to work this week. Anything that you are able to help this little family with funeral expenses and living expenses will be greatly appreciated. Taylor and Jerrica also have a 2 year old little boy named Brentley that they are caring for.
