Baby Aaron Koban's Medical Costs

At their 20 week ultrasound, Chip and Anita Koban learned their new baby would be born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, also know as HLHS.  Basically, Baby Boy Koban would be born with half of a heart.  This would begin a journey of worry, finding sitters for their 2 and 4 year old daughters, high medical co-pays, and costly, near weekly trips to the Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia for monitoring testing and meeting with surgeons.  Fast forward to February 2018 - due on Valentines Day during Heart Disease Awareness month, Baby Boy K arrived on 2.7.18 via c-section- fittingly, on the first day of Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Week!  Chip and Anita named their son Aaron James and he is the cutest and most perfect little boy ever! On 2.9.18, at 48 hrs old, Aaron received his first open heart surgery to help his heart to function as it should if it had 4 chambers instead of 2.  This will be begin a long journey of medical bills and expenses, missed work and daily trips to CHOP to see Aaron until he can come home with his family.  Aaron will have to endure several more surgeries, but he is a fighter and will persevere!

Travel to and from CHOP will mean parking fees, food costs on the road, and babysitters for Aaron's big sisters, plus medical fees and co-pays for Anita's care.  I started this gofundme as Chip's sister and Aaron's aunt to help offset the costs this will mean for their family.  Any and all donations are much appreciated!
