Babies at the Border Need Blankets

Hello There-
I'm Nikki Gersten McAvity, Founder of Robot Bunnies, and I'm working to raise money to produce and deliver as many blankets as possible to asylum-seeking babies and young children - who have nothing of their own - at or near the US-Mexican border.
My company Robot Bunnies (www.robotbunnies.com) is a modest baby blanket business that donates a blanket for every one we sell to children in the US foster care system. Unfortunately, we don't sell in large enough quantities to make a dent for the kids at the border. I do, however, have the infrastructure to produce a large quantity of the most wonderfully comforting and snuggly baby blankets quickly if I can raise the money to do so.
I have learned that it is impossible to get donated goods to the children in US custody so we plan to distribute them to children/families waiting for processing on the Mexican side of the El Paso border (in Juarez) through local shelters. My goal is to raise $20,000 by July 25, 2019 in order to produce and deliver 1000 blankets to kids in need by approximately August 25th. (The blankets are produced in Los Angeles and will, therefore, be easy to drive to the border.) No matter what we ultimately raise, we will apply all funds toward making and delivering as many blankets as possible.
I know from my work here in the US with foster children how much our blankets are loved and appreciated by kids in need. Having something soft and soothing that is all their own means the world.
I would be beyond grateful for any contribution you can make towards this project and will document the whole process (including providing complete transparency regarding all spending) on my website (www.robotbunnies.com) and social media (https://www.instagram.com/robotbunnies/ and https://www.facebook.com/RobotBunnies) so you can follow along from fundraising through production and delivery.
I know many Americans like me want desperately to do something to help these kids/families and to let them know that we care about them, welcome them and want to see them happy and safe in our country.
