<div>Zu dem Stück: 'babeln' ist eine universelle Geschichte über Interkulturalität, die auf meine Familiengeschichte zurückgeht. Meine deutsch-jüdischen Vorfahren wanderten 1938 von Deutschland nach Kolumbien aus.

</div>
<div>Aufgrund des Krieges war ich 1999 das erste Mitglied meiner Familie, das von Kolumbien nach Deutschland zurück emigrierte. Das gab mir die Gelegenheit, mehr über die Vergangenheit meiner Familie herauszufinden als die dürftigen Geschichten, die im Haus meiner Eltern erzählt wurden. Meine Einwanderung nach Deutschland ließ mich verstehen, was es heißt, sich in einem fremden Land zu integrieren und gleichzeitig der Beginn einer inneren Wiederentdeckungsreise, die wir in künstlerische Form gebracht haben. Das Bühnenstück 'babeln - Ein kolumbianisch-jüdischer Abend' ist das Ergebnis dieser Recherche.
