<div>Bij Babel vinden we dat iedereen de kans verdient om zijn talenten en creativiteit te ontdekken en te ontwikkelen. Daarom starten we in september met de Babel Alternatieve Kunstvaktraining (BAK). In deze opleiding krijgen mensen met een beperking of zorgindicatie de kans om zich verder te ontwikkelen binnen de podiumkunsten.

<div>Voor een aantal spelers is de reis naar Babel een uitdaging. Zij kunnen niet zelfstandig reizen en zijn afhankelijk van taxivervoer. Helaas zijn de kosten daarvan hoog en worden deze niet altijd vergoed vanuit de zorg. <strong>Daarom sparen wij voor een eigen Babel Bus!</strong>

<div>Met de Babel Bus kunnen onze vrijwilligers de spelers veilig van en naar Babel vervoeren, zodat zij hun talenten kunnen ontwikkelen, zich (creatief) kunnen uiten en hun stem kunnen laten horen.

<div>Daarnaast kunnen we de bus inzetten voor theatertournees en excursies. Een eigen bus maakt ons minder afhankelijk van duur taxivervoer, waardoor we flexibeler zijn en ons makkelijker door de samenleving kunnen bewegen. De Babel Bus is meer dan alleen vervoer. Het is een stap naar gelijke mogelijkheden voor iedereen.

<div>Babel werkt toe naar een Huis voor Inclusieve Podiumkunst. Een laboratorium waarin we via de kunsten verkennen hoe echte inclusie eruit kan zien, zowel op als naast het podium. Dat doen we niet alleen, maar met partners in de stad. Makers, collega-instellingen, zorginstellingen en andere maatschappelijk betrokken partijen. Want echte inclusie kan alleen bestaan als we het samen doen. En daarom hebben we jou nodig!
