Baba Olly's adventure fund

Our dear friend Oliver Vick (Olly) tragically died on the 10th of March alongside his partner Jessica Hyba (Jess) in the Ethiopian Airlines crash. 

Olly led a truly international life. He was born in Cairo and during his life lived in over 10 countries and visited almost 100. He loved to travel and as a result of his various adventures and his humanitarian work with the UN, he built up a large group of friends who are scattered across the globe.  Jess' family are based in Canada, her children Ayla and Othéa live in Jordon, Olly's parents are in the UK and his children Isabella and Silvia live in Milan. 

Having spoken with Jim, Cheryl, Bex (Olly's family in the UK) and Ilaria (Isabella and Silvia's mother) they have agreed for us to set up a travel fund for Isabella and Silvia.  

The aim of this fund will primarily be to enable the girls to travel to spend time with their extended family and to visit their and Olly's friends. For example there is a memorial service being held in Canada for Jess in August which it would be wonderful for them to join and would provide an amazing opportunity to spend some quality time with their sisters, Ayla and Othéa. However, with airline tickets in August costing over £700 per person, they need some help. 

If at all possible it would be amazing if we were also able to provide some sort of legacy fund to enable Isabella & Silvia to travel independently and have the opportunity to experience  some of the same delights that Olly reveled in from exploring the various (often more obscure) corners of the planet and hopefully make, weird and wonderful international friends of their own !!

Please don't feel that you have to contribute, but if you are able I know that it will help to allow Isabella and Silvia to stay connected and follow in the adventurous footsteps of their Baba Olly..
