YCL Glasgow Women's Commission - Community Aid

With winter here and the cold weather coming in fast, the Women's Commission of the Glasgow Young Communist League will be taking the lead on the branch's 2019 plan for community intervention.

We will begin by collecting and fundraising for care packages for the City's many homeless, left on the streets by the housing crisis and abandoned by failing public services, while thousands of properties lie empty in private hands.  These will include emergency blankets, deodorant, dry shampoo, toothpaste, women's toiletries and a selection of sandwiches.

We can't buy everything in bulk so call upon our supporters and members of the public to donate to our efforts in order to keep them sustainable and effective. We are also looking for material donations and can arrange to pick up.

Thank you for your help, solidarity is power.
