Baa, Baa Injured Sheep: Vet Bills

My sister's flock of sheep was savagely attacked last week. Her Mama sheep was killed and 6 others were critically injured. Her Alpaca, Max, was also critically wounded. This was not the act of wild animals (confirmed by local police, livestock vet, and game warden.) It was a local dog that inflicted this and the owners refuse to take responsibility. It's a tragedy overall - there are not bad dogs...but there are irresponsible and careless dog owners. 

My sister is devasted as she loves her flock as much as her dogs and cats. The vet bills she is incurring because of the dog owner's negligence is already reaching multiple thousands of dollars. I hope this fundraiser helps lessen the financial blow. Beyond the vet care, she has to administer daily wound care and antibiotics. All of these are expensive.

My sister would never reach out to others for help, but I will.  My sister works 12+ hours a day as a microbiologist testing for the coronavirus in Vermont. She wears full PPE during this time and then goes home to care for her home, farm, and family. The stress of this event is causing her emotional and physical pain.
