Collective Aid: Supporting Refugees in the Balkans
Donation protected
Hi friends! This year for my birthday I am raising funds for Collective Aid. For those of you that do not know I am currently in Belgrade volunteering with Collective Aid; an organisation that provides essential aid for refugees across Europe. Your donations will go towards the operations of our newly opened WASH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) centre in Belgrade. The centre provides essential hygiene services for people sleeping in tough, cold, and dangerous environments, such as abandoned buildings and parks. Without the WASH centre, they would have no other way of accessing showers or washing their clothes. We hope this project can support the health and wellbeing of the people on the move and provide them with some humanity along their journey. We also work with the Border Violence Monitoring Network, collecting testimonies of the violent illegal push-backs inflicted by police and EU member state authorities (Read the testimonies here - BVMN Testimonies). There is still so much more to be done to meet the needs of the population. Please donate what you can, as any amount will make a difference to someone’s day. A little guide; it costs 20 euros to provide shampoo and washing powder for 1 week. Supporting Collective Aid helps make the essential work we do possible and help make people who have been terrorised feel a little more human.
Donate what you can so Collective Aid can continue to search for new ways to improve people’s health and wellbeing.

**Why a personal fundraiser, not Collective Aid?**
Unfortunately, the CA Facebook page has been taken down due to continuous harassment by alt-right groups in Europe. Additionally, platforms like PayPal or GoFundMe have been banned in Serbia. As a Coordinator of CA, I will transfer this money directly to the organisation’s bank account.
You’re amazing! With love and respect,
