Help Matt get his Power Wheelchair

Hello. My Name is Matt and I'm 36 years old with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  My doctor's call me the 'miracle patient' as most people with this disease only live to see their early 20s.  I used to be able to do a lot of things like get in and out of bed myself, use the bathroom myself...I even used to drive a car! Muscular Dystrophy is a progressive muscle disease that makes your muscles waste away over time, you become weaker to where you have to use a wheelchair, then eventually it affects your respiratory system leading to death.  I lost my ability to walk on my own 5 years ago and I haven't been able to transfer out of it anymore myself as of 2 years ago.  I'm currently trying to get my first power wheelchair, the  Corpus M3 by Permobile. This chair is fully powered and it's my first power chair that is going to change my life...it can stand me up straight, let me lay flat...pretty much position me to any position I need.  I have a manual chair I use now and for the past 5 months it has been making my feet and legs really puffy because I can't reposition myself.  I have been feeling extremely weak and its been very hard to push myself around.  I need to raise about $6,000 to cover the cost that I have to pay after insurance...the chair itself costs between $30,000-$40,000.  This chair will allow me to get out in the community, enjoy my life while I am still somewhat physically able, and give me an overall sense of relief and happiness that I really need.  I could really use the funds as soon as possible but I can't do it without your help, I live off of disability and simply cannot afford it.  A wheelchair is now my new legs and it's something I desperately need. So, if anyone out there who knows me and can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it, it will change my life for the better. Thank you.
