Some of you may know that for the past several years I have been working with youth in a variety of programs and through coaching. My passion is supporting youth development and growth through opportunities and firsthand experiences.

On this journey, I have come to realize that I can affect greater change and have a more significant impact by developing and expanding my skills and resources.
Opportunity
I have been selected to participate in the StartingBloc Social Innovation Institute on August 14-18 in New York City.
StartingBloc educates, inspires and connects emerging leaders to drive social innovation across sectors. During the Institute, there are speakers, skills development workshops, seminars, idea-sharing and a chance to meet people who are working to create social impact. The cost of tution for each StartingBloc participant is $1,000.

StartingBloc Fellows support each other as they go onto to launch innovative organizations, guide policies and partnerships that tackle social, economic and environmental challenges around the world.
