Funeral Arrangements & Medical Expenses

My dad is/was Mario Antonio Gray Sr.  He was 64 years old when he passed away.  He was a loving father growing up and a great friend now as adults to his 5 children.  We will always remember him with a smile on his face and an awesome sense of humor. He was always ready to offer advice and be there for his kids; even when he was feeling ill. My dad always made friends easily; he would speak to anyone.  To know him was to love him.

He battled Congestive Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension for the last 8 years. Therefore, he developed fluid in his lungs and often had swollen legs. In addition, he needed oxygen to walk even short distances. This condition disabled him from working and kept him from qualifying for any life insurance. When possible, although disabled, he volunteered his time at The Department of Children and Families (DCF) helping out those in need in understanding the proper forms that they needed to fill out in order to receive benefits. He made many friends there and touched many people with his warmth and again, his sense of humor.

I thank God for giving me my dad.  He was my buddy, my support system, my drive and I want to honor my dad and his memory with a proper funeral worthy of such a warm and caring human being. In life he had always been a provider and in his death this is the least that I can do.  So I ask you to please help me make this happen for the main man in my life.  Anything helps and it is all appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

Thank You,
