On 3/18/2014 (my amazing dad Semir Sehic, only 48 years old) Emory Winship Cancer Institute diagnosed my father with Stage 4 LIVER and BILE DUCT CANCER. Surgery is not an option, but we were offered typical chemotherapy treatments. Due to his history of heart troubles though, the chemotherapy offered also has high risks and unlikely success.
Unfortunately, after initial attempts at natural alternative treatments, chemotherapy is now necessary. However, we have found an integrative treatment option at Progressive Health Center with Dr. Edward Bradford in Atlanta, Georgia. This treatment reduces the risks and takes a holistic approach at this aggressive cancer. This treatment is safer and includes a combination of high doses of vitamin therapy and low doses of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by Medicare which is my father's only health insurance and is very expensive. It is $17,400.00. Treatment lasts for 6 weeks and he will attend the therapy Monday-Friday for 5-6 hours a day.
My family and I are asking for gracious donations to help us fight for his life. Any and all help of any amount is heartfelt appreciated. I repeat, WE GREATLY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR GENEROUS HELP AND EFFORTS.
