Help Fund a World Changer

Donation protected

My heart longs to see a world full of people who are walking in the fullness of who they are created to be. I was created to be a teacher, a pioneer, and a catalyst for change.

Within each of us is a solution to a problem. My solution? An education system that empowers students to be who they are, unapologetically. My problem? A current education system that disempowers, limits, and turns students into workers not learners.

I believe every person is gifted from birth with an innate curiosity and desire to learn. I believe the best educational system is the one that most effectively nurtures those qualities instead of minimizing them.

My name is Natalie Howell and I’m a world changer!

All my life I've been told I was born to change the world. It sounds like the cheesy opening line for a superhero cartoon but it's true. It’s who I am. My parents have told me again and again that within me is the power to change the world. And you know what? They’re right. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I’m here to help make things better.

My dream is to see education reform. I believe God has a better idea for teaching our children than the current public school model. God has gifted every person with curiosity and a desire to learn. I believe it is an educator’s job to nurture that curiosity and provide students with the tools they need to teach themselves. God needs to invade the classroom with His love for helping children become their truest selves. I want to bring Heaven to earth, especially into the classroom.

My ultimate goal is to open schools across the world that encourage and empower youth to be world changers!

I am 19 years old and home is in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC. Last year I went on the adventure of a lifetime. I finished high school and moved to Redding, CA where I attended Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). I graduated from my first year studies in May (Woohoo!) and am planning on attending the second year program come September—with your help.

At this time last year I had several thousand dollars saved to pay for school expenses. Not this this year. My job at Starbucks during school will cover some of my living expenses and I am currently working/ saving as much as I can while I'm home in NC but it won't be enough.

Why BSSM?
The promise of growing in my spiritual gifts and a curriculum that teaches people how to channel the love and presence of God to work miracles, signs, and wonders took me to BSSM. Bethel breeds revivalists. People that graduate from BSSM go on to do amazing things with God and I knew I wanted to be one of them.

The truths and Kingdom principles I am learning at Bethel are both life changing and universal. I am being taught a wide range of things from how to hear God's still small voice to how to be an effective leader. All are important for a world changer and a revivalist.

In March I was able to go to Sierra Leone on a mission trip. I actually turned 19 in Africa which was crazy. In Sierra Leone our team met with powerful political and business leaders. We were able to pray and prophesy over more than ten of these leaders.
This is me with the Minister of Agriculture, Sam Sesay, who is a really cool dude. It's also a really cool story behind this photo. A homeless man told me months before we left for Sierra Leone that I was going to meet the Minister of Agriculture. Our team had never met with him before, but when we landed in country our leader got a call. Sam Sesay wanted to meet with us!

God is the craziest, wildest, most passionate person I know. He blows me away everyday with His love for me and I'm constantly in awe of His goodness. He is faithful and He never breaks a promise, no matter what.

My first year at Bethel I fell more in love with Jesus than I thought was possible. And I can't wait to say the exact same thing this time next year when talking about second year.

How Can You Help?
It would mean the world to me, and those whose lives I’ll be changing, if you would prayerfully consider investing in my life and ministry training.

When talking to God about my daunting financial situation a few weeks ago I told Him that I would ideally love $15,000. That would free me from the need of a part-time job so I could truly put all my focus on Him. If I didn't have to work I would have time for extra classes, extra weekend services, conferences, and volunteering. I love my job and I thoroughly enjoy working (I've had a job since age 15) but this past year one of my regrets was that I wasn't able to give all my attention to school and school related activities. I asked Him more recently where my $15,000 was and He said, "It's coming."

So while the goal amount says $4400 that's just for tuition. Any additional money I raise will go to local ministry trips, an overseas mission trip and living expenses. I am believing for $15,000. If I receive $15,000 I will quit my job; don't worry only for the school year! My Papa has all the riches in the world, He is a good Dad who loves to bless His children and I'd love for you to be part of the blessing!

With all the love in the world,

Me being commisioned by Bill Johnson and Kris Vallotton.
