Laura Kieda (Our Hero) Car fund

Donation protected
The community suffered a great loss with the destruction of the Well Mannered Dog Center that was devastated as a result of Sunday's tornado. Kathryn Snyder, owner of Well Mannered Dog, would like to thank each of you for your prayers, condolences, and offers of help. She wants to assure everyone that she WILL be reopening and will keep all posted on her progress towards that goal.

Laura Kieda was the employee who was on duty Sunday evening. Due to Laura's resourcefulness, quick wits, and calm manner, all dogs were removed to a safe location and have now been reunited with their families. Laura is truly one of the "unsung heroes" of Sunday evening. Unfortunately, Laura's car was also among the wreckage. Because it was an older model, it only had PL/PD coverage. It was completely totaled. Laura is a young woman who is recently starting her working career. The car was her sole method of transportation. Without a vehicle it will be extremely difficult for her to procure employment until the center can be rebuilt.

Kathryn is asking those that would like to make a monetary donation to Well Mannered Dog Center to instead donate towards the Laura Kieda fund. It would be wonderful if we could help fund a vehicle for this lady who put it all on the line for our beloved canine companions.
