By now a lot of people have seen the CBC coverage and the CP24 coverage of Christine Youssef welcoming "The First Five" of her cousins to Canada. She expects more that 40 family members by February from Syria.
She and her mom, Sara, are helping over 40 of their family members start their life in Canada and they are doing it all at their home. The increased cost of living will be astronomical.
I'm a close family friend and I want to see this family make it through the holidays as comfortable as possible. I'm extending my hand to the public in hopes that everyone will grab it and we can come together for Christine and Sara like they have come together for so many Syrians.
