Everyone knows Bonnie as being the sweetest girl who works incredibly hard but always makes time to spend with her family and friends. She would give the shirt off of her back if someone was in need and she’d spend her last dollar to make sure she is there for someone during a time of need or a special occasion.

Bonnie just completed a one year Psych Tech program in January 2018. She worked SO hard, spent hours and hours gaining the knowledge she needed to excel. She has been working for a few months and now she does not know when she will be able to return to the job that she loves and worked so hard for.

On May 3rd, Bonnie went into the eye doctor to have her eyes checked out. Little did anyone know in that moment, Bonnie was told by the ophthalmologist that she needed to go to the hospital ASAP. Bonnie went into the hospital thinking she was possibly having a mini stroke. It turns out that Bonnie was then diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). We do not know how long Bonnie has had MS but we do know that she has been showing symptoms for quite some time now, trying to get answers, only to be shot down a few different times.

Since being admitted at Twin Cities Hospital since May 3rd, Bonnie has been receiving a handful of different medications, including a Spinal Tap. Multiple different symptoms have come to light and every day it is getting a little harder. A neurologist will be in on Tuesday and we are hoping to get more answers. Bonnie and her loved ones are beginning to talk about seeking treatment elsewhere so that the doctors can help prevent this disease from becoming worse.

The hospital bills are beginning to add up and her insurance is not covering a large portion of it. This money will be used to pay her medical bills, gas for Tony to transport Bonnie to and from appointments, food, and whatever expenses come up from being unable to work. Her boyfriend, Tony, as been by her side through the entire thing and has been unable to work in order to be there for her. They could really use help during this difficult time.
