Royce Strahan funeral fund

Royce was a proud vietnam veteran.  He served his country proudly with honor and received a purple heart for his bravery.  Royce fought for what was owed and was denied benefits by the government for himself/spouse for several years since the first complications of throat cancer & surgery in the early 1990's.  He was diagnosed with PTSD and later diagnosed with a terminal lung diease in 2012 that ulimately took his life on July 6, 2014.  Even though the Drs had reports and sent letters appealing on his behalf advising that agent orange was found and present in his body they still denied his benefits that were rightfully owed to him due to his records were classifed and lost in a fire at the government facility that held them.  Royce appealed once again on his death bed supplying medical docs and a letter of his terminal illness as advised need to the board for their review, a meeting was to be held on July 7, 2014 to review and make the final decision.  Even though our information was given before he passed we have since been advised that due to his passing the appeal process also expired when he passed.  In lieu of flowers, we have decided to start this fund to help his spouse Ruth Strahan pay for his funeral expenses, outstanding bills & etc.  We are a proud family and do not ask for hand outs but in this instance any donations would be greatly appreciated to help Ruth Strahan.
