<div>I've been documenting and reporting on classic car auctions for a number of years, and it was brought to my attention that one auction house was acting... unscrupulously.
</div>

<div>The whole story has been documented on YouTube, and the auction house in question has done everything possible to silence the customers and keep the story under wraps.
</div>

<div>On Friday 17th I was sent a formal 'cease and desist' that threatened to commence legal proceedings if I do not delete all of the content online.
</div>

</div>
<div>Now as I have done nothing other than give disgruntled customers a platform to share their story, and document these happenings online, I firmly believe that what I have done falls under the realm of free speech and public interest... and I won't be silenced by bullies.
</div>

<div>I am looking to raise £100,000 to fight any legal battle that may occur from this threat.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, where it gets interesting is that I am not convinced the auction house will make good on this promise to take me to the High Court, so here is my promise to you - every penny raised from this GoFundMe (that doesn't need to be used for legal / administrative stuff arising from the fundraiser) will be used for properly good charities...

<div>And I don't mean charities that just claim<em> </em>to be good, or charities that are the biggest.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WhatI mean is that further down the line I will ask you to suggest charities, causes, communities that mean something to you, and we'll use this entire debacle to do some good in the world, because light always illuminates the dark, and the truth will out.
</div>
