Emily & Rayne Wedding

Sometimes you're rolling along just fine & life throws you a curve – or a mixed metaphor closes – & a door forgets to open. 2 weeks until our daughter Emily's wedding and – BOOM! Downsizing clobbered our family finances: medical bills to pay while weeks pass waiting for COBRA, family vehicles requiring registration and maintenance, and day-to-day household expenses that are piling up. Relief won't arrive in time for our daughter's small wedding celebration, and there are a few crucial items remaining on the To Do list that, while secured with deposits and a good deal of planning, weren't entirely paid off yet. We would be so grateful for assistance in making this small event a special celebration. The items we had not fully paid for are:

• A sheet cake for the wedding guests to enjoy with the bride and groom.
• Material to finish making the wedding dress and veil.
• A few trays of BBQ to share with our family and friends (most of the wedding feast will be potluck and homemade).
• Flowers for the bride and bridal party; the rest of the flowers will be wildflowers for the tables.

We are blessed with lots of wonderful amazing friends, and they have lots of wonderful amazing friends. Some of you encouraged us to use this tool to reach out in hopes this little campaign will bridge the gap between what we can afford and what we deeply believe our daughter and her husband-to-be deserve after overcoming so much hardship. We are humbly offering some “Hopeful Romantics” recordings as one of the ways we can thank you and show our appreciation for your support during this difficult time.
