Carmel's Courageous Battle

On Sunday July 6, 2014 my dog Carmel was hit by a car :(. She is only 2 years old. She is an amazing dog and a huge part of my life. She has a sister(our other dog) Clayvie who is 2 as well. They are inseparable and the best of friends. Carmel is amazing with kids, other dogs and animals including cats, loves to run and play, and she is the best cuddlier! These dogs are my rock and my fur babies! I'd be so lost without them! Carmel severely injured both of her back legs from the impact of the vehicle that hit her and has some cuts an scrapes as well :(. She at first couldn't walk on her legs only drag her front legs to move around but now she is slowly getting strength in her right leg that she had the hip surgery on. Three of her left knee ligaments are torn; caudal crucial ligament, medial collateral ligament, and cranial cruciate ligaments. Her ACL is torn as well. Her right legs hip was completely dislocated but now fixed and in the process of healing and recovering. She is currently still at the Rice Lake animal hospital. She is on antibiotics and pain medications for her hip she recently had surgery on. My husband is currently deployed over seas and we have our first baby due in less then a month. Our finances are very slim and we live pay check to pay check each month. I am very greatful for any small donation to help get my dog back on her feet and healthy.
