A young mother gone too soon

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Joanne, and this is by far the hardest thing I think I ever had to do. I have never really been a person to ask for much help, but this is much bigger than myself.
On Thanksgiving morning my beautiful fun-loving baby sister Brittne Green, died at the young age of 31. She leaves behind three amazing children Lamya 15, Marcus 10, and Jazmine 9. She had been raising them all alone while battling kidney failure. Even though Brittne had been sick half of her life, she continued to shine on with her love and sense of humor always the first to make a joke out of her bad situation. She was always there for all of her family and friends even in her weakest moments. As her renal failure progressed, she endured countless surgeries and endless ER visits until her heart weaken and she was unable to breath without oxygen or even walk alone. She was in chronic pain all the time due to the enormous amount of calcium that had built up all over her body. Weeks before her passing she was told that her heart needed repairing, but with only a 20 percent chance of survival she chooses to spend her remaining time with her love ones. Still she did not let this diminish her spirit.
Nearing the end, she had only one wish. She wanted her children to grow up happy and together. Now I honor her and her final wish by taking in her 3 babies, now my babies, with open arms and heart. I see a piece of her in all of them every day. I would love to give them the world right now, but I will settle for the necessities. They were sleeping on air mattresses and had no real clothes or shoes. She was a single mother and did not have any money set aside. It is just my husband and I along with my brother trying to take care of funeral arrangements and her children needs.
This comes at such a devasting time with the recent loss of our mother only 6 months earlier. We are all hurting financially and could really use the help. Even if you opened your hearts up to donate $5 that would do more good than you will ever know. We are asking for $5000 to pay for her funeral and her 3 children expenses. My family appreciates the time you took to read our story about this wonderful young woman who is now free from her own body in which she had become a prisoner to for so long. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity. Please love one another each day because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Please feel free to share her story with your families and friends.
