Elijah Desperately Needs Surgery

Ronnie Smith's beloved Elijah desperately needs surgery. He has been under the care of a vet for a serious case of Habronema for quite some time.  The vet says it is one of the worst cases she's ever seen.  He was showing signs of improvement, but condition has worsened.  Every nickel has been spent on his medicine and treatment.  Without immediate hospitalization and surgery, his prognosis is bleak.  With necessary surgery, the vet feels he can and will make full recovery.  For those of us who know and love Ronnie, and for all the never-ending love and support she has provided to so many of us when our beloved horses needed her help and expertise, it is my hope that we can rally via "GoFundMe" to raise the necessary funds to help her to help Elijah.  Ronnie works three jobs, but for those of us with horses, we are well aware of the cost of necessary veterinarian care.  She devotes herself to caring for Elijah, and his brother Merlin, in the wee hours of the morning and late into the night.  She is an active volunteer for several horse rescues.  She's the first to help others when needed...let's reciprocate and help her to get the medical attention Elijah needs.  I am a good friend of Ronnie's named Sherry and felt compelled to start this GoFundMe account on their behalf.  Please be assured the link is connected to Ronnie's Facebook account and she will control all donations provided.  If goal amount to hospitilize Elijah is not reached, the funds will at least provide him with personal vet check at home and necessary medications.  I thank you, as does Ronnie, Elijah, and his healthy Arabian brother Merlin, who won't know what to do without his lifelong friend and companion.  Please note, we were not permitted to post photo depicting Elijah's medical condition in his "private" area as it was deemed too graphic.  It is posted on Ronnie's FB page for those who want to see the seriousness of his condition.
