Free Jaquita's nephew

Today at Richarte High School in Georgetown, TX  a student was arrested and taken to Williamson County jail.  He must have committed a serious crime and be a threat to others, you might think.  Wrong.  On the report of another student, he was told to give his vape pen to school officials.  Without his or his mothers knowledge or consent, he was taken to Williamson County jail and booked on a felony charge because of supposed marijuana trace in the pen.  Ask yourself, is this reasonable treatment of a high school student?  

Now he is being held.  His single mom isn't eligible for bond because she is disabled.  So a high school student could spend Christmas in Jail, not in school studying for finals, and not with his family, because the school chose to take this action without any concern for this student, the community, or thought to any potential consequences.

I am asking for your help for us to work together to crowdfund and support getting this boy home to his family.  This is wrong.
