Ana, Victor and their two young children

Ana Mendoza is a North Vancouver mother of a spunky 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. She is the type of person that brightens up your day. Her husband, Victor, is probably the kindest man I've ever met and the sole financial support of his family. When Ana was pregnant with her 2 year old son, they discovered she had cervical cancer which placed her in the unbearable position of choosing between termination of the pregnancy or to delay aggressive treatment. Ana chose to keep her baby and delay her treatment. 

After a very difficult journey, Ana was cancer free and Nathan (her premature baby) was thriving. Ana and her family were overjoyed with the outcome.

A year went by before Ana started feeling pain and lumps. That's when they discovered that her cancer had returned and there was nothing the doctors could do.

The emotional turmoil, financial hits and general exhaustion have been overwhelming for Ana and her family. It appears that Ana’s time is short and any financial support would help the family spend as much time together, creating their last family memories.
