Help Sprout's medical bills

Sprout (the ninja) has been through an epic battle with cancer over the last 4 months.  What started as a routine checkup ended up being 3 surgeries, a leg amputation and three months of chemotherapy.  Even though we amputated his leg due to a mass cell tumor he was part of the unlucky 5% of dogs whose cancer had already metastasized.  My poor guy has gone through a lot, but he is a true fighter in every sense of the word.

The cost has been well over $10000 and I have had to borrow anything I could from where ever I could to cover the costs so we could keep fighting for him. I have sacrificed a lot but nothing compared to him.  Nothing has stopped him.  The day he woke up after his amputation he stood up and hopped around right away.  After all the vet visits and tests he remained in great spirits.  He hopped out of every single chemo appointment as happy as can be.  He is a true inspiration to me and everyone he meets.

He had his last round of chemo today and I am so proud of my little man!  The oncology team called it his graduation day.  They presented him with a certificate of completion and a special, personalized, bandana and bandage.  We will go back in two months for a recheck and take it from there.  My fingers are crossed...

I have been on auto pilot, just charging ahead doing what needed to be done and today it really hit home just what we have gone through this spring and summer.
I appreciate any help you may be able to give, even if it is just helping to spread the word.  I am truly grateful for all of the emotional support we have received through all of these ups and downs and while we waited with bated breath for his many results. Sprout's story is much longer than this tiny summarized snippet so if you would like to know more please let me know and I will share with you.

We will walk in the Smiling Blue Skies "walk to end canine cancer" this September as we did last year because our mastiff Yogurt died from Cancer two years ago.  Sprout will now walk as a SURVIVOR not just a supporter.  If we surpass our goal of paying off Sprout's vet bills all additional money raised will go towards the Smiling Blue Skies end canine cancer fund.  There are so many dogs and families affected by cancer and everyone should be given the chance to fight. And to live.

I will continue to upload pictures and updates on here as well as on Sprout's Instagram page @jackandthebeansprout and #sprouttheninja
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
