This is Terri Sutton. She is one of my players on the Central Girls Basketball team. Yesterday her house caught fire and burned down and her family lost everything...clothes, toiletries, electronics, family pictures, keepsakes, etc. By the grace of God, Terri’s bedroom was intact (but has smoke damage), but her two younger brothers, her sister, and her mother, Carol Pommier all lost their belongings and their home.
Terri is a senior. She is a good student and one of the strongest people I know. She found out about the fire yesterday (Jan. 25th) at 2 p.m. Se went home, assessed the damage, moved out the stuff that survived, and came back for our 7 p.m. game. I told her, “Terri you do not have to come to the game tonight.” But she said, “No, I’m coming.” Terri hasn’t missed a game or a practice all season.
Please help this family get back on their feet. You would be supporting a young woman with a very promising future, who has just had some rough luck.
