There was devastating earthquake measuring 6.2, which hit central Croatia on December 29, and whose epicenter was near Petrinja. The earthquake resulted in loss of life, injury, and caused material destruction, leaving almost all houses in Petrinja damaged. This catastrophe has left many people homeless and struggling.
Some of those who've been left homeless are my family, my aunt Ruza Kovacevic, cousins Zvjezdan Kovacevic and Kata Marcic, and their children and spouses. They are struggling right now, not sure if or when they'll be able to rebuild and get back to normal. The upcoming months are going to be extremely tough on them, mentally and financially.
Right now, they need help. Help to pay for food, help to survive, and help to eventually rebuild or repair their homes. Any assistant would mean so much to them and help them in ways I can't explain. If you are able to donate, any amount would help them right now. I'm trying to raise as much as I can to at least ease a little bit of the pain and hardship they are going through right now. 100% of the proceeds I raise are going to be directly divided among them.
Sometimes, we have to depend on the kindness of friends and strangers, so I thank everyone in advance for any donations. They will mean a lot to my family but they will mean a lot to me too.

Dogodio se razorni potres koji je pogodio središnju Hrvatsku i čiji je epicentar bio u blizini Petrinje. Potres je rezultirao gubitkom života, ozljedama i materijalnim razaranjem. Gotov sve kuće u Petrinji ostale su oštećene. Ova katastrofa je mnoge ljude ostavila bez domova i teskim zivotom.
Oni koji su ostali bez doma su moja obitelj, moja strina Ruža Kovačević, rođaci Zvjezdan Kovačević i Kata Marčić i njihova djeca. Oni se trenutno muče, nisu sigurni hoće li i kada ce moći obnoviti i vratiti se u normalan zivot. Predstojeći mjeseci bit će im izuzetno teški, mentalno i financijski.
Trenutno im je potrebna pomoć da prezive ove teske dane i da poprave svoje domove. Doniraj te kolko god mozete, to bi im puno pomoglo. Pokušavam skupit što više da bih barem malo olakšao bol i nevolje kroz koje trenutno prolaze. 100% donacije koju prikupim ide njima.
Ponekad moramo ovisiti o dobroti obitelji, prijatelja i stranaca. Unaprijed zahvaljujem svima na donacijama. Značit će puno mojoj obitelji, ali i meni.
