My name is Sandi Martin, and I am here to have you consider contributing for a teammate at DaVita Labs, who has been delivered some life changing news. Susan Edwards has been a teammate at DaVita labs for the past 25 years! She is one of the kindest human beings that I have the opportunity to know and to call a friend.
Susan has recently received life changing news and while she has always supported others, she is uncomfortable being in the spotlight. Susan has most recently been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Needless to say this diagnosis is heartbreaking and Susan is in for the fight of her life. Susan has already begun Chemotherapy and her immediate family is close by to provide emotional support and transportation to and from treatments.
While she remains employed, we know the financial strain that the treatment, Dr. visits, PET scans and x rays will have on her. The funds that are raised will all go towards medical bills that are proving to be more than one can ever imagine! The medical plan is proving to be challenging as she is scheduled for Chemotherapy, via a port that was recently inserted, 3 times/week, every 21 days, length of treatment yet to be determined, depending on her laboratory results.
Contributing to this cause will permit Susan to focus her energy on her newly devised medical plan and treatment and will help to eliminate unnecessary additional stressors. Please consider contributing, any amount that you are able, to support a teammate in need.
