Please help the Livingstons make it into their new home!
As many of you know, it has been a very difficult year for me, Joan Livingston, and my two boys, Max and Alex, including 8 months in transitional housing. I've done the hard work and finally am once again making a steady salary that allows us to rent a new apartment in the Bay Area (!), but the move-in costs are extraordinary. We have been offered a lovely apartment in Larkspur (Marin County), but we have to be able to pay the first/last/deposit by THIS SATURDAY, August 1st, or we will lose the apartment. That would be absolutetly devastating for Max and Alex.
I am hoping to raise enough to cover the deposit for the apartment plus the expected costs for actually moving from San Francisco to Marin. This wil allow us to make a fresh start, without going in to debt at this very delicate stage.
